This fall, Trinity student instructors taught a variety of technology programs at several different locations. One team taught Trinfo’s “City Explorers” curriculum to a group of students at HMMS where participants developed movies introducing Hartford. Another team taught “The Producer: Make your own Cultural Video” at Bellizzi Asian Academy where students chose a country in Asia of their liking and create a cultural video introducing that country. Another team taught “Tech for Tykes” at Montessori to 4 and 5 years old, where students were introduced to the basic building blocks of computers. Finally, a group of instructors taught 1st – 5th graders from Montessori on Thursdays and Fridays on a variety of topics, such as how to make your comics strips online, series of useful shortcuts on the computers, how to navigate interactive educational websites and game and much more.
