This summer, Trinity student instructors taught a variety of technology programs at several different locations. One team taught Trinfo’s Lyricist Lounge program to a group of children at the Trinity College Boys & Girls Club where participants developed movies of their own poetry. Two other teams taught OPMAD’s program at Kennelly Elementary and Hooker Environmental Studies School where 4th and 5th graders at each school developed action pamphlets on what their school can do to help save the planet, while the 6th-8th graders developed PowerPoint presentations on how they can raise awareness within their schools on topics ranging from global climate change to recycling and renewal energy sources.
